This refers to the complete set of physical and logical systems that enable reliable transmission, storage, and management of data within a facility or across multiple sites. It includes the installation of structured cabling (fiber optic and copper), network racks and cabinets, active networking equipment such as switches, routers, and firewalls, as well as supporting systems like power, grounding, cooling, and security.
The contractor shall:
• Supply and install complete ICT infrastructure to support data and communication systems.
• Works to include:
• Cat6 structured cabling for data and voice outlets
• Patch panels, racks, and cable management accessories
• Fiber optic backbone cabling (single-mode or multi-mode as specified)
• Network switches, routers, and wireless access points
• Labeling of all data points, cables, and patch panels
• Testing and certification of all cables
• Provide complete documentation and test reports.
